Privacy Policy

Who this is for

Bard Fusion is available in the United States. Accounts are for people 13 or older. You confirm that age before we send a sign-in link. We do not verify identity documents or check a government ID.

Accounts

Sign-in is email magic link. We do not collect passwords. A new account is created the first time a link succeeds.

Information we collect

Profile: display name, optional bio and avatar, skills, location text, budget preferences, and remote or in-person collab flags.

The Bard³ personality result (type name and scores) if you complete the quiz. Optional Values (beliefs and work boundaries) if you set them.

Projects you create or join, including titles, synopses, covers, slots, kanban cards, and the shared notes page.

Messages, Interests, Passes, blocks, and reports you file.

Billing status for a platform subscription (plan, status, and Stripe customer or subscription ids). We do not store card numbers.

Share teasers you publish: unlisted profile cards at /u/, and owner-opt-in project, group, and event cards at /p/, /g/, and /e/.

Age attestation timestamp. Technical logs and error reports as described below.

How we use it

To run the product: sign you in, show Home and Find, deliver Messages, host the project workspace, and enforce free and paid caps.

To send a batched reminder email if you have unread Messages and have not opened them for about six hours. We do not email you for every new Interest.

To process reports for human review. We do not sell your personal information.

Processors

Supabase: database, authentication, file storage, and realtime.

Vercel: hosting the website.

Stripe: subscriptions and the customer portal. Card details stay with Stripe.

Resend: magic-link mail (after custom SMTP is on) and delayed unread reminders from noreply@bardfusion.com.

Sentry: application error reports. We do not use PostHog or other product analytics yet.

Sharing

Other signed-in people can see what the product already shows them: Find cards, share teasers you enable, messages in a thread, and workspace notes and cards on projects you share as a member.

We do not operate a public directory of every profile or project. Profile share links are unlisted. Project share links stay off until the owner turns sharing on.

Retention, export, and deletion

Email hello@bardfusion.com to request a copy of your data or to close your account. We process requests ourselves; there is no self-serve delete button yet.

An export is JSON of your rows: profile, skills, Values, Bard³, projects you own, memberships, Interests, messages you sent, and billing status. It does not include other people’s messages or notes, and it does not include raw card numbers.

When we close an account we anonymize you as “Deleted user,” archive projects you own so remaining members keep notes and cards, keep message and note bodies, keep reports for moderation, remove your avatar and login, and cancel a Stripe subscription while keeping the Stripe customer record for tax and invoices. Blocked accounts can still make this request.

California residents

If you live in California, use the same hello@bardfusion.com email to ask for a copy of your data or to close your account. We do not sell your personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date.
